The summer heat cranked up a notch today. It was another steep climb to start the day and I was sweating a lot. It took three hours to finish the Te Whara/Peach Cove/Mt Lion track from Oceans to Urquharts Bay. It is 476m above sea level at the highest peak with even more spectacular views up and down the coast. There were no clouds hovering or wind.

Joanne, Leannan and Raewyn joined me today from Urquharts bay and we walked to Reotahi bay. It was nice to have company again.
